Hip Hop Japan Coming Back Soon
While we are still rebuilding the Hip Hop Japan site we have decided to give back to the Japanese Hip Hop community by recommending a few of the best Japanese hip hop & Japan Rap artists artists out there.
Some of these artists & groups are personal friends, some I've worked with & one I've messed up their project before (Not saying any names but sorry)...
M-Flo - Originally Verbal, Taku, & Lisa now recently Verbal & Taku are out there doing their thing with various tie ups. Verbal is one of the smartest peeps I know... A flow that's comparable to Q-Tip at times & even though he doesn't do it often he can flow in English with the best of thems.. & when I say an intellegent artist I mean Ivy League smart (I know a few thangs you peeps don't know)...
Espionage Records - Verbal's Record Label home of Mic Banditz, & Heartsdales...
Heartsdales - Two real bad female rappers... Jewel & Rum.. These sistsa's got a hell of a flow. Nice like Lil' Kim.... These girls got their deal by winning a national TV search on Asayan for two rappers & whooped everybody. Japanese but both Jewel & Run were raised in New York with an vibe to match. English or Japanese their flow is tight... & when I say sista's Jewel & Rum are really two sisters...
XBS - XBS has been around in the Japanese Underground for years member of the Nitro Microphone Undeground...
Soul'd Out - Soul'd Out's first album came out shortly after I met Diggy & the crew in Tokyo. Creative flow & keeping Japanese hip hop evolving.....
